A stable concrete patio may be suitable for a resin-bound overlay, creating a new finish without replacing the slab. Suitable asphalt may also qualify. Paved patios need closer assessment because both the pavers and the base beneath them must be stable.
Before recommending resin-bound patio resurfacing, we assess cracking or movement, falls and drainage, door thresholds, steps, edges, adjoining surfaces and access. This service is designed for qualifying existing hard bases; soil, loose gravel and areas that require a new structural base fall outside the scope.

Yes, when the concrete is stable and suitable for an overlay. We check cracking, movement, levels, drainage, edges, door thresholds and access before confirming the project.
Sometimes. The pavers and their underlying base both need to be stable enough for resurfacing. Because movement may not be obvious from the surface, photos and a site assessment are used to qualify the area.
The resin-bound finish is porous, but overall drainage depends on the base beneath it, existing falls, outlets and adjoining levels. A resin-bound overlay over ordinary concrete should not be described as a fully permeable patio.
Thresholds, drains, walls, steps, gates and adjoining surfaces are reviewed before the system is specified. These details affect levels, edge restraint, preparation and the final quote.
The surface is intended for normal outdoor use, but it should still be treated with care. Use suitable feet or pads under furniture, avoid dragging heavy items and clean spills promptly. The handover guidance will explain how to protect the finish.
Yes. Choose from 29 aggregate colour blends, with natural variation expected in stone aggregate. Curves, contrasting borders and transitions can also be planned where the existing surface and practical edging allow.
It can still be considered, but a minimum project charge based on 20 m² applies. Combining the patio with a suitable path, porch, garden area or another surface may improve the value of the project.
Keep people off the surface for at least 24 hours, and wait for the installer's project-specific direction before replacing furniture or loading the area. Temperature, moisture, weather and site conditions can extend curing.
