Gorilla Surfaces provides commercial resin-bound resurfacing across Adelaide for properties with suitable existing bases, including entrances, customer-facing forecourts, courtyards and pathways. Natural aggregate is mixed with UV-stable resin and hand-trowelled over the prepared surface to create a consistent exterior finish.
Stable concrete is preferred. Suitable asphalt may also qualify, while pavers are assessed case by case. This exterior overlay service does not include indoor epoxy flooring, resin-bonded surfacing, standalone repairs, structural replacement or construction of a new base.
Before recommending an overlay, we assess base movement, drainage and falls, thresholds and edges, expected pedestrian or vehicle loads, site access and operating requirements. Those findings determine whether resurfacing is suitable and help us plan preparation, work stages and reopening around the property's needs.

Often, yes, when the concrete is stable and suitable for an overlay. Cracking, movement, levels, drainage, thresholds, edges and traffic are assessed before the resurfacing system is specified.
Potentially. Access windows, public separation, weather, preparation, curing and the number of work zones all affect staging. These requirements need to be discussed before the quotation and programme are finalised.
Keep foot traffic off for at least 24 hours and vehicles off for 48 hours, or longer if advised. Commercial reopening depends on the loading, weather, moisture, temperature and project specification, so the agreed handover plan controls access.

No. Gorilla Surfaces currently provides complete installed resurfacing over qualifying existing bases. Standalone repairs and repairs to third-party resin-bound systems are not part of the service.
The surface build-up is specified for the assessed base and expected loading. Pedestrians, trolleys, light vehicles, turning loads and heavy vehicles can require different preparation or systems, so the layer specification and detailing are confirmed in the written quote for the site.
