What Customers Say

Resin-bound resurfacing creates a new finish by mixing dried natural aggregate with resin and hand-trowelling it over a suitable existing surface. Gorilla Surfaces uses it to resurface qualifying driveways, pool surrounds, patios, paths and other outdoor areas without automatically replacing the entire base.
Often, yes. Stable existing concrete is the preferred base, and suitable asphalt can also qualify. We check cracking, movement, drainage, levels, edges and access before recommending an overlay. Stable pavers may be considered after extra assessment.
Not necessarily. If the existing base is stable and suitable, it may be retained and resurfaced, which can avoid full replacement. Some projects still need preparation or removal of unsuitable areas, so we confirm the scope after assessing the site.
We resurface suitable existing driveways, pool surrounds, patios and entertaining areas, paths, garden hard surfaces and selected commercial areas. We can also plan borders, colour transitions and other custom details. Each area is assessed for base condition, drainage, edges, access and intended use.
As an initial budget guide, straightforward qualifying residential resurfacing may fall around $172–$200 per m². Final pricing depends on the site assessment, total area, base condition, preparation, access, edges and finish. A minimum project charge based on 20 m² applies.
Keep people off the surface for at least 24 hours and vehicles off for 48 hours, or longer if your installer advises. Temperature, moisture, weather and the details of the project can change the curing time.
